I worked with Steve and his team across 2017, and I left the experience highly impressed with their abilities, their dedication and work ethic, and their quality and character as people. Steve did a fantastic job helping my ex-wife and I navigate a difficult time. He offered highly informed legal advice tempered with practical real-world thinking on what is best for children, fair to each spouse etc. He was always on top of all the details and highly responsive to my calls. He is one of the best lawyers I have worked with in any capacity in my personal and professional life. I highly recommend him for any family law work.

I very much appreciated my representation by this firm, however, I learned the hard way that this is not the best place to seek representation if you are a woman dealing with domestic abuse. Domestic abuse is not the same as a very difficult divorce, and I believe the latter is absolutely in the Raynor and Farmer's domain. However, abusers need to be dealt with by individuals uniquely familiar with the tactics and motivations employed by such individuals,* not just people familiar with managing cases of physical abuse, and I would not feel comfortable referring a woman suffering from any of the former to this firm. Good Luck to all pursuing a new happier life! *The scientific literature shows that the long term effects from emotional and mental abuse far outlast the effects of physical abuse. If you are suffering this kind of treatment: You are not alone, you deserve good things in life, and with hard work, perseverance, and determination you *will* come out the other side. Be safe and know you deserve a better life.

Steve Raynor’s vast knowledge and legal expertise helped me navigate a very complicated and difficult divorce. His attention to detail meant we were always several steps ahead of opposing counsel. In addition to being a fantastic lawyer, Steve is also a genuinely nice person. He truly cares about his clients.

Steve Raynor represented me for more than two years, through a series of very tangled and contentious domestic and custody-related disputes. I’ve never had a single reason to regret hiring him, and not only because he got optimal results for my child in every one of those episodes, including the one that finally resolved the whole thing. Steve is, across the board, absolutely first-rate: legally a step ahead of the other parties involved, exceptionally well-organized, easy and pleasant to deal with. Given his impressive legal intelligence and expertise and very extensive experience, Steve’s willingness and ability to give clear explanations of the legal/strategic/tactical issues involved was of great value to me. Because the legal issues often involved parenting considerations, Steve’s lively concern for the best interests of my child, and his psychological insight into the child’s perspective, were also extremely valuable to me. So was the premium he put on prompt communication: Steve did everything in a very timely way, which is big stress-reliever in these matters. In sum, I recommend him, without reservation, as a great lawyer and complete professional. I really can’t imagine anyone being any better.
