In spite of having paid a fat fee, unfortunately the place was advertised as available immediately, which was the main factor for me choosing the place was not available until the beginning of the next month, which i was told after I paid their fee. I was given the place without it being turned or cleaned, and received the lock key a week after start of my lease. I understand that miscommunication happens, but this one impacted my work schedule quite a bit, hence 1 star.

Lyndsey Casagrande at REAL NY was such an incredible help and sounding board during my apartment search! An awesome agent for those that have no idea what the hell the are doing, she will walk you through every step with total transparency and explain everything. She came with me to our lease signing and advocated for us as tenants when things were unclear with the building management, making sure we were refunded properly for lack of disclosure about a gas situation. Lyndsey is your best bet and a total go getter.

Searching for an apartment in Manhattan is incredibly daunting but working with Lyndsey and Chase made it so much easier! They both were super helpful and honest about the process from the very beginning, allowing me to feel confident and prepared when it came to submitting paperwork and signing a lease. They even went above and beyond by looking into a questionable situation where another broker had steered me in the wrong direction on an apartment. They are seriously the dream team of brokers -- I can't say enough good things about them!

Hardworking, patient, determined and extremely helpful are a few words that come to mind when I think about my broker Lyndsey Casagrande. Not only was she extremely patient and resourceful during our experience looking at apartments in Brooklyn, but she also explained the entire process in lamens terms and had our backs throughout the entire process. I will recommend Lyndsey as a broker to all of my friends and coworkers, and if there was a Broker of the Year award, I would nominate her because I was that blown away by her extraordinary abilities at what she does!
