Recreation Center

This facility used to be very well run just a few years ago. Sadly it is not well cared for and been allowed to deteriorate quite a bit. The service from the staff is lack luster and sometimes given grudgingly. Sad to see such a once impressive facility become so diminished.

Short hours, extended equipment downtime, many holidays, far too busy. Cable machines break several times per year (cables fray) and it is not uncommon for a month or longer to pass before they are fixed. Often, both will be broken machines in the MAC will be broken simultaneously. The facility is far too small for the number of members, and it's not uncommon to wait 15-20 minutes for a barbell/squat rack/bench press. Hours are short (close at 9:00 PM on weekends, open at 6:30 AM on weekdays) and they are closed a large number of days out of the year.

If you're student or staff great place to get your workout on. Compared to other gyms, this gym falls a little short. Plus there are a lot of casual lifters here so gym etiquette isn't the best.

Great turf fields. Everything else (weights/grass fields/ basketball courts) are kinda average and overcrowded.

Great gym with lots of features. Basketball courts, pools, indoor soccer courts, tennis courts, and of course weightlifting. Just have to go during hours when it's not packed which is in the morning or after 7-8pm
