This is a quaint, rustic and clean campground. The staff was friendly and helpful when we had problems with cable, they helped us troubleshoot on our end. It worked great. It's quiet even though its in town. We would come back again.

Friendly staff. Spots are small and close together but have trees! Decided to stay a second night. I did NOT have any issues with the staff, but I dealt with the owner and his daughter. I never met the woman people say is rude. They escorted me to my site and helped me back in. They probably do this as the sites have room for your unit an awning and a picnic table. You are pretty close to your neighbors. Still, convenient, shady, and nice enough for me to stay a second night.

Red trail provided what we needed, a place to park with electricity, a warm shower, Good Wifi, and a generally quiet place to sleep. yes, the spaces are close to each other, which requires reasonable courtesy for being quiet early and late. And when you're two blocks from the train tracks you're going to hear the trains go by at night. With so many parking places, if we had planned ahead, perhaps we could have gotten a location a bit farther from the road, but late arrivals end up catch-as-catch-can.

Typical campground in a field. I was a bit upset we were forced to rent a site for each person in out party. We could have easily fit on 1 site. 3 stars just in case I was not clear at check in. Showers were overall decent. Typical tourist trap town with over priced food and other necessities.
