Regional Pain Management Center

I've been seeing the providers at pain management for 7 years now. They are all compassionate people that have worked with me to lessen my pain.

They were more worried about insurance paying and when we asked what the price is. They give us an astronomical amount they charge the Insurance Company, and they gave us a a different price about half of what they charge the insurance company. Then they would charge us a doctors rate to see a nurse practitioner that couldn't relieve a bee sting if you gave her the medicine and instructions.. When we told the nurse practitioner what was our diagnosis and the neurologist encouraged us to see a pain management provider because she is going to need more than a nerve pain medicine to manage her pain. It was a deer in the headlight look when we told her what the neurologist said. She thought muscle atrophy was a nerve pain. We asked her if she knew how to treat the pain for muscle atrophy was during rehab, she said lyrica.. But couldn't tell us what what muscle atrophy was. She said they could inject the place where the pain was to relieve the pain. That told us even more about what she did and didn't know. Mainly what she didn't know. When asked to see the doctor she said there wasn't a doctor there and they don't prescribe medicines from that office. WOW!! Basically, the nurse practitioner called our neurologist and us liars and didn't believe my wife was in pain. DO NOT GO TO THESE PROVIDERS!!!! They only want your money and could care less about your pain or functionality. The worst excuse for pain managers I've seen. Save your time and money go somewhere that cares about giving patient care not these people. All this happened and they didn't even examined my wife.
