Large, well stocked store with exceptionally pleasant staff. I had my bike tuned here. The mechanics were knowledgeable and quick. My bike was ready several days early and it seems to be running much more smoothly. I got several accessories as well; they were well priced. I will shop here again.

Love REI!!! They have very helpful and knowledgeable people working there! Parking can be an issue depending on when you go. Although there is a huge parking deck nearby, it's less convenient than the tiny parking lot near the store.

Staff are friendly and generally helpful, but I got much better help with backpack fitting at the DC store. Here they had me in the wrong size and then just told me to look around. In DC people helped me try on different packs with appropriate weights, showed me how to wear and adjust them, and kept helping until I found the right one. This store isn't bad, but I don't go here if I think I might need real help.

They need to be more consistent in training floor staff. The first guy, was so apathetic and curt while managing to talk non stop about his unsolicited "expertise" which he clearly did not have. When we told him what WE were looking for in a bike, not what HE wanted us to buy, he actually said "ok whatever" and walked away. Not sure why he was hired for a customer service job. The second guy was so friendly and helpful, letting us know they didn't have right model in stock and where we could get it.

Found just what I needed for my bike. High quality and no fuss. Checkout person was super helpful with my membership ID. Only needed help from a salesperson once and they were right at hand and helpful and nice. Can't be beat, and this location is good for bikes.
