Sensitives, mediums and empaths should not stay here. Nothing wrong with the room, the service or staff. They were all great and very accommodating and willing to help. However if you are a sensitive, or believe in the paranormal, do not come, and stay here, with your guard down. There is a negative entity here, and it crosses boundaries. I was in for business, and had booked to stay for a week. It affected me on my first night/early morning here, and I ran from my room on the top floor, demanding a different room. It actually followed me to the new room, and I felt safer in the lobby, then in the room that had a deadbolt. I had to unfortunately leave after the second night, and bunk with a coworker at a different hotel, due to how this thing made me feel, even though I really wanted to stay in the nice rooms provided. To management and staff, I really do hope something like this doesn’t happen again, you guys are on your service game, and handled my being scared extremely well; but if it does, please get a Priest in there to bless EVERY room. No matter if guests enter them or not.
Definitely not worth the price. You are better off staying at the Hyatt across the street. This Marriott is not up to par with others in the collection. They had this going for them: their night staff was phenomenal. They gave us over the top service. Unfortunately, the morning shift came in right before breakfast, was the opposite of accommodating. Additionally, their breakfast was paltry and was at the same level as a Super 8 but at least I’d expect that at the latter. Their parking was incredibly overpriced. And the fold out sofa was dirty. I DO NOT recommend staying here unless you see a room available for less than 70-80 dollars. Also, parking is 40 dollars, fyi, so if you get a deal for less than that, I would take it.
Very conveniently located in the city center. 15min walk from Union station, about a 1hr trip to the Airport via walk+ A line. Very clean and well managed, the suites are spacious and the kitchens actually us we fully equipped. I enjoyed their breakfast service and the lounge area is very handsomely appointed and a pleasure to relax and do a little work or have breakfast in.
I stayed here back in May 2022. Got a very reasonable rate. The room was very spacious and clean. Almost a bit too much for one person. Location isn't the closest to the train station but still walking distance. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.Rooms: 5/5
Our stay was unimpressive. We requested to be added to the wait list for early check-in, but never heard from the hotel that our room was ready. In our room itself, the refrigerator made strange noises throughout the day/night, waking us up at random hours. The lighting in the room was terrible, making working from the room quite a challenge. The chairs were uncomfortable, and the desk chair in particular was broken and torn open at the seams. The pillows, while containing different fillings, completely flattened under the weight of a human head. This led to stiff necks and shoulder pain throughout the stay. The bathroom to sink area was awkward because the door to the toilet/shower room was so large and opened into the sink area. This made it near impossible to functionally use the sink area unless the bathroom door was closed. The bar of hand soap provided was quite possibly the most drying soap ever created. Our toilet seat was broken and moved around if you sat on it. The shower curtain appeared to have been washed and dried multiple times, resulting in it shrinking to the point that it was too small for the shower. As a result, water splashed out from the shower, pooling up on the floor. There appeared to be mold forming around the bathroom as a result. The vent in the bathroom was filthy, covered in a thick layer of dust. Needless to say, all the biohazards in the room made for a fun time dealing with allergies during our stay.
Great hotel located in Denver Downtown. I stayed for a week. The room was very spacious and cozy with desk to work. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Only thing good about this hotel is location and the fact that Rooms were clean. Not very comfortable stay.Their AC and heater is limited so you do not get to pick your temperature to sleep. Lady at front desk was condescending and unfriendly and not very welcoming during check-in. Thank god we were staying only one night here. Less than mediocre breakfast no bread for toast no nuts for oatmeal. Not many vegetarian or vegan friendly options for breakfast. Only thing we could eat was bagel.luckily we did not have a car to park.
Very nice place. Fair price. Quiet! Great Location. Beautiful art in the lobby and room. Love the decor of the room. Comfy bed. Very clean room! but my room did smell like the previous people cooked an entire 5 course feast in there. I don't know what it was but it mustve tasted good. The scent was so strong I could almost taste the flavors in the air. Haha. I've stayed in places before that come with a little kitchen but this was literally the first time my room ever smelled of food. It was slightly off putting at first but within a short time you no longer smell it. Your nose will adjust. It's to be expected really and truly because you're renting a room with a kitchen there to be utilized, it's not for decoration. I read the other review about paranormal activity here. Wow. Glad I didn't experience that although the person did mention it was a warning for those sensitive to that sort of thing. Said the staff handled it well when requesting to change rooms. That's awesome.
It is very obvious this location is suffering from staffing issues, as it is just not up to the Marriott standard. I have been staying here for the last several days and there have been multiple issues with the elevators, sometimes they take you to your floor, sometimes they don’t….. There has been a bag of garbage sitting on top of the table on the 12th floor elevator lobby for the past 3 days, as they appear to clan the hallways once a week. On Monday, there was a fire alarm around 4pm that went off on all floors, except mine. Another guest and I thought we heard something but couldn’t place it. It wasn’t until the elevator arrived on our floor did we even know that we needed to vacate the building. That cannot be safe in a hotel where guests have access to stoves in every room. The people working here have all been friendly and they are really helpful but you can tell they are completely understaffed, and overwhelmed.
