We are going 3 and half days with no hot water. Apparently we are getting a new hot water heater, but as of yet there has been no communication with any of the tenants. Maintenance and management has become less caring in the 9 months I have been staying here. Additionally several other issues have risen that they failing to address. See photos. When brought to their attention about water damage and mold development, we were told by a maintenance person, mold doesn't grow from water damage. What a complete joke.
I really feel rich living at Richland Park. Not only is the value amazing, but so is management and maintenance - oh my god, maintenance - they take care of EVERYTHING immediately. Everyone is professional and courteous. We've only been here a week, but it's already starting to feel like home. Update: 2 stars removed. We're 9 months in and maintenance has gone to hell. They remain totally unresponsive to several crucial issues for weeks on end. They refuse to hire professionals for any jobs that require them, and as a result larger issues have arisen from the botched fixes. I'm growing increasingly concerned with management's lack of accountability.
Pray when you call 'Jane' doesn't pick up the phone first even if it's just an inquiry. She's a manager but lacks consistency to do her job professionally 50/50 if shes in a good mood and doesnt hang up on you with a slam. Throughout our lives we are always told to leave our problems at the door when we go to work. We've been told by some of our neighbors that they feel like having dealt with the management they can get away with the attitude because of what they offer here lol there are so many issues here especially with the club house being closed for a very long time. While the apartments are nice enough many issues will fall on deaf ears. Noise complaints are better handled by the police and the parking lot and garages are usually filled with scavengers and scrappers during warmer times you can except them to be camping out whenever they want. Everyone parks wherever they want its truly is fascinating compared to other apartments. I GUESS no rules is better then a ton of rules the best part is you can have all of your family and friends and strangers move in with you to spilt your rent up! Not only do they not care they won't even check to see if you brought any pets or extra people in. Some of the people that have been here the longest think it's a flop house. Very sad.
They scheduled me for a tour three days ago to say at last minute "Call in June" Do they know how to run a business? Seems like they do not. Good thing I'm not putting my money worth in these apartments. You can tell already how it is just by how they cant even keep up with tour apartments. Imagine when you have to contact maintenance. Oh boy.
This complex also manages the one I live in and this is how we get treated... This tree has like this since the storm on 7-10-21 and it is now 7-14-21
I haven't lived in these apartments for a few years, but they were definitely my favorite apartments I've lived in. You get the most space for your money, which was more important to me than having a newly remodeled apartment. It is such a great location, right off the interstate and dodge street. The main office and maintenance were always prompt and easy to work with. If I ever were to go back to an apartment, this is definitely where I would go.
I've been at Richland Park for just over 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. My neighbors are friendly & helpful, the office staff is wonderful and maintenance is prompt. Specifically Jane in the office; she went above & beyond to help me figure out the timing of my move. She answered all my questions with kindness and professionalism. Love my apartment and plan to be here a long time.
I lived there for over two and a half years. Management was all over the place and not very professional at all. Because of the price you will be getting more sketchy people than normal for cops were called quite often in our building. We were always good tenants, no complaints, and never late on our rent. That being said, when it was time to go our separate ways we made sure the place was tip top clean and there wasn't anything wrong. From our 310 deposit we got 42 dollars less because they replaced the stove top drip bottoms. You know those bottoms that cost no more than 1 to 2 dollars each. It was even just written so unprofessionally on a small torn piece of paper. Upset I called and management didn't care one bit and was even snarky. My advice is to pay the extra 50-100 dollars more on another apartment, you won't regret it.
To the Tallberg Family , the manager Ashley is very unhelpful, condescending, and rude. I find it strange that an apartment complex cannot tell a caller interested in renting if there will be any availability within the next 30-60 days. Is that not one of the more important pieces of information your business needs to rent upcoming units?
Received a really nice email requesting that I call the office at my earliest convenience to set up a viewing for an apartment. When I called the number provided, I was greeted with a super rude lady that was not only unhelpful but very unpleasant. It’s safe to say I won’t need to schedule that viewing anymore. If that’s how they’re treating a potential tenant I can’t imagine how they treat people that already signed a lease.
