Really frustrated with this location today. I’ve held a told of 30+ mins on two separate attempts to reach the pharmacy. If I’d been working today it would’ve been impossible to get what I need. The first time I waited 15 mins only for someone to pickup and hang up within a second. The 2nd attempt was 17mins before a lady answered, and I started to say who I was and she proceeded to say hello twice very quickly and hang up. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I’ve only done 2 stars because occasionally I’ve had okay experiences there but overall it’s stuff like this every time. They don’t listen and don’t seem to care about customer experiences

My doctor prescribed two prescriptions. One was it controlled substance and one was not. This was on August 3rd. When they both said available for pickup I decided I did not want to be on the controlled substance because I'd never taken it before. I called my doctor and he canceled that prescription and rewrote another one for a different controlled substance. This all showed as it should have on Walgreens website. On the 4th it showed the controlled substance had been retracted and was not available for pickup, only the other one was available for pickup.. Due to some confusion as to where I wanted the prescription sent the regular prescription and the controlled substance prescription were not available for pickup from Walgreens until the 5th. I went there and got my prescriptions. Both names on each bag were correct. But, the pharmacist did not ask me if I had any questions about the one prescription that I had never taken before. She was nowhere in sight. They just handed me the banks. Had they done that like they're supposed to, what I'm about to say would never have happened. I opened up my bag this morning, August 6th, to start taking the new prescription. They had put the controlled substance in the bag. The names aren't even similar. So now I have two controlled substances. Not acceptable. And they know it. I've contacted them in their little worried. Had I been someone older that couldn't read labels or someone with an addiction this could have caused harm. This is not okay. I haven't picked up prescriptions from this Walgreens for quite some time. One reason being is that a couple of years ago I went to pick up a same controlled substance and they didn't even ask me to verify anything. They just took my word for it and handed it to me. At that time they were supposed to look at driver's license. Didn't even ask for it.

These people are absolute life savers, especially Jessica, one of the pharmacists here. My wife was without pain medication for 6 hours just a few days post-surgery due to a mishap with the hospitals prescription and our usual pharmacy who would not accept it. The hospital nor the pharmacy offered any solutions, but Jessica corrected the issue and prevented me from causing a complete incident at the hospital. For that, we are forever thankful and will be taking all of our pharmaceutical needs here from now on!

I love this staff so much. About once a week, I end up in this walgreens just to kill time and walk around. Every staff member that I have encountered is amazing. Late night staff, rush hour staff...literally all of them are so kind and helpful. The pharmacy gets quite busy and can sometimes have extended times on prescriptions, but they are doing the best that they can. And they stay positive even when you can tell they are overwhelmed.

The website says 24hrs…this is what’s on their recording. At the time of this review, there was a message stating they were closed from 6pm to 10pm. The problem with this is medication was sent from the after hour physician during this time frame to prevent an ER Visit and it could not be filled…called back around 10:15 p.m. and then the message said closed until midnight. IF this store will NOT be open 24hrs as advertised notification should be sent to the physician and patient. This will allow for an alternative pharmacy option…or at least the doctor can give further recommendation. Decided to just GO to the store in hopes someone is there and can give an update….to be continued Signed, Frustrated Parent

Set Booster shot appointment. Arrived early as requested. They had "computer issues" when trying to pull insurance information. I waited for 30min past my appointment time before they even handed me the paperwork to complete. They had no clue who's appointment was set for when and weren't helping customers in the order in which we arrived. Don't schedule your booster at this Walgreens!

Ashley pharmacist was most helpful, courteous, and took time to caringly answer my questions. Pharmacy is open the 24 hrs, except on weekends when they close at 6pm.

The only 24 hr pharmacy in Birmingham who never have my adderall and is now withholding from the hours of 12am until ????? Really stinks for this 3 am baking employee who still also had to work on Memorial Day and whose doctor wrote that script for that day.

Excellent customer service. In excruciating pain with a toothache. Pharmacist walked me to the product I requested toothache by red cross. Cashier PATIENTLY waited as treated my pain and then processed my payment Because who goes out in tornado weather at 4:30am!. I am grateful. Thank you for being HUMAN and KIND in my time of need.
