Don't normally give bad reviews but our say was really bad. No A/C on a 90 degree day. Cords to the TV nailed to the walls. Door was unlocked and partially open upon arrival. Bathroom tiles loose with the grout coming out of the cracks. All in all it was not a good experience.

Our room was quiet smelly and we had to buy room spray to freshen it up. Also the view was terrible and there was sadly no breakfast. Buuut I still enjoyed it overall and I'd come back every time.

Staff was very friendly but the owner, Chris, is a nasty, foul man! I stayed almost a week when my brother suddenly passed away. There was a misunderstanding for nights I'd paid with cash and nights paid with a credit card. (I didn't ask for receipts for the 2 nights paid with cash.) I called Chris for clarification and he SCREAMED at me, literally!! He made insulting comments about his staff "not being the brightest,"' and if "they'd stolen my money" he'd "fire their asses!" I NEVER suggested the cash was stolen, I simply needed explanation for the total charges!! Incredibly rude man & unprofessional for a small town business owner. As it turns out, and one of the kind night clerks called me to explain their accounting, they were right and I owed the extra night, which I had already paid on checkout. It was resolved kindly & professionally by Ashley. I WILL NOT be staying there when I return numerous more times to settle my brother's Estate. So sad a business owner acts in such a manner, especially when a hotel guest is grieving the loss of a sibling, which Chris and the staff knew. The room was suitable for my purposes. It was clean and the entire staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The Owner needs anger management and a job not working with the public. Very upsetting this happened at such a difficult time for me.

The "economy" room was a joke I paid $96 a night for a little room the light switch didn't work, the fan didn't work the air conditioner doesn't work well it's a very small hot stuffy room. No fan in the bathroom so they developed a tiny square in the glass where you can open the window for air. It's about the size of a phone. other than the plug in for the tv there was only one working plug in. Definitely run down and the paint job a joke. I've stayed in the rooms at the front of the hotel before and those are a lot better but this one really shouldn't even be a room. The wifi only worked if I stood at the front of the hotel. If you stay at this hotel I definitely recommend you request one of the rooms in the front of the hotel but don't stay in the ones to the back side. I was greatly disappointed with the room. My favorite hotel to stay at in that town is the Wolf.
