Rock Hill Area Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

Our Company The Shed Emporium have been working with the business center for about 6 months. Every new business should talk with this organization. We have been working directly with Eduardo Venegas and his team. I came across their website looking into ways to get our business started. I have lived here all my life but did not know Winthrop offered their services. They will prepare you with a business plan structure to have ready when you seek financial assistance and give you sources to look into for all your business needs. They assisted us in building our website which has generated good business itself. They provide training classes to keep you updated on where and how to get your company in the eyes of the public.We are now looking at opening an onsite location in the Rock Hill area in the Spring of 2016. We will continue to rely on the expertise of Winthrop Small Business Development Center to continue to grow our business.and hope they will be a part of our Grand Opening. I have had the pleasure of working with Eduardo Venegas at the SBDC with my new business. This program that offers to help with small business's has been very helpful to me. They have assisted me with marketing ideas, a business plan and with my website and social media. I would have been lost without them. Eduardo is a very patient and calm person and that makes it so much easier to learn from. Thank you Winthrop SBDC for all you have done to get me started on the right path. I had a great experience and can not say enough wonderful things!
