Ruffino's On The River

Wish i could give more than 5 stars. Best customer service I've ever had from a restaurant period. And all the food I had from the appetizers, to the entree, to even the free bread was exceptional. Wish I could give more than 5 stars, truly an experience.

Gavin was such an incredible waiter. Friendly, impeccable service and great conversation. The eggplant parmesan was a perfect portion of packed flavor! The cheesecake with strawberry drizzle is definitely something to have - one bite and I had the chills! If I could add 5 more stars I would. Thanks Gavin!

This was my first time at Ruffino's. The food was great, I had the prime rib, good mixed drink, I had the beer cocktail, and nice for brunch, there was a bloody Mary bar and endless mimosas. The three stars comes because of the live band. The band was too loud to have conversations at our table of 6. It was great when the band went on break. If I go again for Sunday brunch, I may change my rating.

The braised pork! Delicious!!!! The hamburger mixed with brisket and other cuts of meat...OH MY!!!!! It is the BEST BURGER PATTY, ever!!!!!!!! THE CRAB CHEESECAKE IS A WINNER!! The mozerella appetizer is also something to try if you are a cheese lover. I went to brunch and ate here for the first time on 2/18/18. It was one of my best dining experiences, ever. I asked if there was an option to order sausage, and one of the guys from the waiting staff related what I was hoping for...and they prepared the "sausage crumbs" for me. The staff was friendly and the hostess at the front was VERY CORDIAL. Usually at more expensive dining places, the waiting staff appears to be rude and almost condescending, but the manager(s) have done a great job conveying that customer service is important. 3 service people are involved in the dining here: this was something I was not too familiar with. Overall...GREAT dining place and I love how the interior changed from when it was Couchon's.

We recently went here for the first time (wedding anniversary). The wait staff was very friendly and gave prompt service. There was an issue with my entree which they were more than happy to fix and did so in a timely manner. Mistakes happen, but it's how you handle them that will upset or impress me. I have to say the female manager(I unfortunately didn't get her name) working that evening handled the mishap in such a professional manner that I am so VERY impressed. We don't get many date nights having 3 kids, but I assure you we will be back as soon as we can get away again!
