Great experience! Quick and very friendly service, and huge value. I was originally going to order the large nachos, but I was told the small feeds 4 people and they aren't exaggerating, so I got the small. I went here by myself and now I have leftovers for both dinner and breakfast tomorrow, maybe even another lunch! They arent the best nachos I've ever had, but don't get me wrong, they're tasty. Much better than Frontier's nachos. They also have these pastries that you can put sweet sauce can't remember the name of either the pastry or sauce, but the pastry itself is in my photos and it's really good as well. I would definitely come back here. I paid $13 and now have 2 more tasty meals. Plenty of good food for a killer price, and the service is great. Loved my experience here.
This was our first time here and it was delicious! The restaurant was huge and clean. My husband and I sat at one of their semi-enclosed booths that give you a sense of privacy and cuts down on the ambient noise. The service was prompt, friendly and courteous. We both really enjoyed our meals and the red and green chili were especially good. Just a few things for me would have made our meal 5 stars. I'm a huge chili relleno fan and prefer the lighter egg batter and the poblano peppers. Sadie's batter was more doughy and thicker. Although their pepita was excellent, I missed the option of getting rice. I also wished they had an option to get refied beans. I missed having creamy beans as a side. These are all personal preferences of mine, so if you like pepitas and whole beans, this is the place for you. The complimentary sopapillas were excellent! I tried not to eat them since I was already having a huge meal, but they were irresistible. So good! We will definitely be returning!
Fantastic food and huge portions. You will not be disappointed with a drop-in for lunch or dinner. We actually stopped by for lunch and even the lunch portions are huge. If I can make a suggestion, should you consider the nachos, be sure there’s several people at your table to share them. I got the small order as my entree and it was HUGE! I couldn’t even make a dent! The salsa has a bit of a kick to it, but the quest was spot on!
AMAZING!! From the service to the food, everything was on point. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The services were fast, and we never waited for anything. We ordered the blood orange margarita , it was delicious. We never waited on anything, and they made sure our drinks were always full.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
After reading the amazing reviews, we knew we had to stop by after a failed attempt of watching the night show of the balloon fiesta. It was crowded, so we had to wait approximately 20 mins, but the food was very worth it. Beware: the portion sizes are bigger than expected here! Definitely a good thing, but we didn’t expect it, and ordered WAY too much. I really wanted to get Chile con Queso, because it had green Chiles. It was spectacular of a starter dish for the meal. It was a perfect blend of cheeses, a wonderful dash of vegetables, and perfect consistency. It was by far the best part of the meal for me. They also provided free salsa and chips. The bus boy was very friendly, and refilled our chips every time we hit the bottom. Other service members were much less attentive, but he was really on top of it! The food in general was a little spicer than we expected, but absolutely amazing. I would strongly recommend coming to this place for some really good New Mexican food.
Ordered the carne adovado enchiladas and a chicken quesadilla. The Xmas chili was flavorful and not too spicy. The carne adovado was tasty as well. The hashed potato was not exciting on its own but worked well with the plate. The chicken in the quesadilla was not seasoned as well and tasted pretty bland. Portion sizes were large and generous. Environment was clean and atmospheric, service was wonderful as well. I recommend coming here for a meal with friends and family :
What can I say? Everything I had at this restaurant was sipid and satisfactory quality. The wait time was fairly short and the menu had so many interesting New Mexican dishes. At the end of the meal, the price was less that 20$ per person which is great value considering the fact I ordered 4 items.
When you think Mexican food, think Sadie's. Satisfying food, large portions, and very attentive wait staff. Charming atmosphere and decent prices. So neat that they distribute their salsa to grocery stores!
First time visitor and we had a blast and departed with full bellies. Plenty of seating and very large menu. The waitress was great, she took the time to explain the menu and offered recommendations. Definitely a place I would return to.
After being through New Mexico that last two times I was try disappointed in the New Mexican food until I finally made it to Sadie's. I've spent many days in the past in the great state and I was introduced to the hatch chili experience. It's something I tell averyone the have to experience. Growing up in a Mexican household nothing beats your parents or relatives. Sadie's brought back my first experience and did not disappoint. This happened to be my second time at Sadie's. My Aunt and Uncle brought me there several years ago. They have friendly service and the bartender was a good conversationalist. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I ordered the two cheese enchiladas, and the chili rellenos, of course Christmas. The margaritas was perfect to round off the experience. My left overs were perfect in the morning before a long drive. I look forward to going back. Cheers!
