Safeway Pharmacy

I've been trying to call the pharmacy for half the day and I can't get anyone on the phone. I'm just trying to find out whether I could get my flu shot with my vaccine since they have walkins for flu shots. Can't get anyone on the phone. Everything is so expensive here in the deli especially. Only reason I'm coming is to get my vaccine. Don't shop here anymore

It’s so ridiculous the long lines waiting to pick up prescription medications. They usually have one staff at the pick up to dispense those you are in needs. In another hand when you try to call them to ask a question or request refills thru the phone most of the time they don’t answer. Bummer!

They never answer the phone. Nor do they get back to you if you leave a voice-mail.

Worst Safeway I have been to! Lines are always long. No real customer service and the deli? DISGUSTING!!!!! The last time I was there I spent over $100, which is so easy to do here. And decided to pick up dinner from the deli. I asked to do the $9.99 eight piece chicken dinner and said I would be right back. When I came back less than a minute later, the lady said it was by the register. I walked over where a male employee was helping a women. He started handing me some pieces of chicken stuffed in salad containers. I asked if this was the 8 piece chicken, and he looked at me confused. The other employee finally came over and handed me the bag without a word. When I got home I started taking the chicken out and dishing up plates. The chicken was so old and dry it was hard to tell what was a breast and what was a thigh. Not even edible. I ended up making mac and cheese for my son. I would have went back to the store and returned the chicken but its far from my house and I just got home. My kids were hungry and I just decided I will never go back there. Safeway is going downhill fast.

99% of time only 1 cashier. Pharmacist helpers don't come help. Long lines,poor waiting design. Need ropes for customers to stand in. Customers are all over, down isles, blocking other customers who don't need pharmacy,people waiting are down a grocery isle. Store is located 3527 SE 122nd Portland or 97236.please please do something about this place. Hate coming here no other option. My store I was at for over 30 yrs closed not happy.

They virtually never bill my secondary insurance, leaving me waiting 15-30 minutes every time I pick up a prescription. I wonder how many other people they are withholding on secondary insurance benefits. Two stars instead of one because Fred Meyers manages to be much worse.

Hard to get a hold of. Slowest lines ever. Takes 45 minutes just to get meds. I never answer the phone not helpful at all.

Need more staff. Always a line down the grocery isle.

We have used this pharmacy for years, never had anything wrong with our orders. Everyone is very cheerful and helpful !! Recommend to anyone wanting a good pharmacy !!
