Must-try: , Come early in the morning otherwise you need to wait. Top dim sum place in local. Personally I do not like to use menu to order dim sum. I prefer waitresses to push the carts to show us the dishes and then I can decide whether to take it or not from the appearance. This restaurant is exactly the way I like. This reminds the life in China. All the dishes are good. Highly recommend to order . We did not find it in the dessert cart so instead we order it directly. It was brought to our table near the end of our dinner so I suppose it takes quite a while to cook it. They are very busy during their bussiness hours. They open at 10 a.m. and we arrived around 10:30. 70% of the tables are taken. I would suggest to come early in the morning but the waiting time should not be too bad. Definitely will come back again.
Love this place! We came here for both brunch Dim Sum and dinner. The food and service are very satisfying! The dining area is pretty large so we didn't wait both time we came.
Bustling dim sum place with push carts. We arrived around 1pm and the wait was about 15 minutes, shorter if you're willing to share a table with others. Overall, decent food, the crystal dumplings with shrimp and spinach and pork feet with ginger were the better dishes. The pork footballs were cold and rather doughy. Parking: Plenty of parking available.
This is one of my favorite dim sum place in the Bay . Wa waited 1 hours for 12 peoples in Chrismas eve lunch but the food was worthed it . Once you are in , the food come out quick . You can grab food on the cart or order it with the server. Service is nice, our server is friendly and helpful. The durian cream puff is bomb . Definitely recommend .
Allergy Warning. Danger. I’ve enjoyed this place in the past for coworker lunches and family dim sum but was extremely disappointed today. Brought 7 people with one family member with serious food intolerances. Called ahead and was assured that we could give instructions to our server before we ordered. We specifically ordered plain broccoli, green beans, rice and pork for this one person. The rest of the group planned to eat family style normal stuff. The server said we could do plain oil on the plain food and we said okay. I pulled the server aside and said, please make it perfectly like this with a clean pan. She said okay okay. Food arrived and it was literally beef with broccoli with sauce and green beans in sauce. They handed it directly to my guest but I insisted on trying it first and it was covered in sweet who-knows-what sauce. Server insisted it was okay and that it was just sugar and oil. She had no idea what she was talking about. I walked over to someone who looked in charge and explained and they brought a simple Chinese broccoli steamed and white rice. The plain meat that was requested never came. Staff is not sufficiently trained. Awful experience. Just unacceptable in the Bay Area. Pics are what we got. Other family members at it, which is why it’s mostly gone but you can clearly see the sauce. I would have contacted them by email before posting this but no email address is available on the website.
They offer authentic Cantonese style seafood dishes. Be aware that some seafood items on the menu might be out of stock, e.g. oysters after 7pm. Got garlic scallop with vermicelli instead, and was quite happy with this alternative. The average price per person was actually cheaper than other similar restaurant in the bay area, especially when you dine in groups.
Good place for dim sum! This is near my workplace so a very good place for lunch with my co workers! They have option for vegetarian as well, you just need to ask! My fav is durian puff, chicken feet, Peking duck!
Great for big families, short wait, and have variety of options. We went for a brunch and the line was only ~15min wait. The churn was very high so most foods were very hot and fresh. They actually have the food cart going so you can point and choose as they come around table by table. I wish the restaurant worked on their cleanliness. There was lot of dirty dishes station all around the restaurant, trash bins everywhere, and overall looked not clean. My plates and cups were not well wiped and made me a little concerned with their sanitary level… The food was ok. They were more on above average side compared to the other dim sums in the area, but not the greatest… I would recommend this place for large families with kids. Their portions are big and filling. Overall the place felt very old-style and not sanitary. If they were a little cheaper, I could overlook their unsanitary condition. I would come back here for a take-out if the other dim sum option is overly crowded.
Come here before 11am if you want to avoid the line. The best seats are close to the chefs, cuz you can see what dishes are coming out next, and get first dibs!
Cantonese dishes at acceptable quality. Reception the steamed fish is disappointing. To fou with fish is pretty good. Crowded ! Servers do not remember what you ask for- it took me three times of asking to get menus . A basic place.
