Everytime I go I get an amazing haircut that exceeds my expectations. The front staff is friendly and inviting and I never have an issue getting an appointment on short notice.

Had my first appointment with Cathy to do a full set of lashes and she was amazing, made me feel very relaxed and comfortable and explained everything she was doing. I have gone back for a fill once and going again soon for another and will keep going back!!

I had called a few weeks in advance for blow out appointments for my mother and myself, which we were super excited about! However, the person I spoke on the phone with did not tell me that the stylist my mom was going to see was still training. This is a problem because my mom has incredibly difficult hair, which I explained over the phone, and had I known that, I would have seen the newer stylist so my mom could have had a more experienced stylist.
Secondly, I was given a quote over the phone for my blow out, and before my mom went to pay for both of us my stylist, Mel, bumped up the price by more than 10 dollars without explaining to me why she did so. I have a lot of hair, which, again, I explained over the phone. I expect costs to go up when I get color done but I've never been to a salon that charges someone extra for a simple blowout let alone without explaining it to the client first.
Overall, I was not impressed. This was a huge disappointment because I had read such good reviews about Salon Elite but will probably never return. Also, the curls in my hair fell within two hours of leaving the salon, the same happened to my mom, who had to go home and fix her hair after the appointment. In the future maybe consider sticking to set prices for things like blow outs, or at the very least let clients know when you're going to up prices... and be more explicit when booking a new client with a trainee stylist.
