San Francisco Plantation

The guide was informative and funny. It was like walking back through time. A little taste of history. The grounds and home was well kept. Not too expensive. The gift shop was a bit disappointing. Great for the family.

Our tour guide was a retired history teacher. He was excellent. Really put a lot of energy into the tour by depicting the different people who lived there. Glad we got him. It was worth it.

Very interesting, I liked that the guides were dressed in period attire. The ventilation system and brick floor were in my opinion the most interesting part of the house. In general, I only have it three stars because canister to some of the other plantations we went to, it was a little lack luster.

The festival was beautiful. The vendors were exceptionally nice people. I had hope there would be an ATM machine. There was none. A minor inconvenience.

This place was not surrounded by sugar cane anymore, but that did not take away from the house, or tour. It was full of beauty, and our tour guide Dudley was a treasure. The highlight of my day was a visit to this plantation.
