Seaport Inn and Marina

Came up from NC last minute do to a death in the Family. Krissy was professional and handled ALL my request and concerns immediately. Good location and many small restaurants in the area. I had the premium room with a fridge, microwave and ironing available. I’m a FF/Medic so you won’t here me complain because I needed a rack and got one at a great price. Went and picked up food to go, well they didn’t give me any utensils but Steven at the front desk hooked me up no questions asked. The Hotel on the outside looks rough but thats because they’re renovating it because the previous owner never CARED!!! The Pool and Hot Tub are freaking amazing. It has a Bar and Restaurant but never explored it. Maybe when I come back in the future it will be all fixed up and I can give you 5 stars.

I've been staying here during fishing season for the past 3 years and I've always had a great experience here. As I read some of the negative reviews i have to say i laugh. This is a great place, and very helpful staff. They keep u safe with locked doors and they try to keep other guess happy.

The staff were very rude!! We came in on a Monday and booked the room for 6 people to celebrate a birthday. They were all fine with it showed us the room and told how much space we would have for a blow up mattress. The day came and the staff now had a problem with it. Told us we could no longer celebrate or have more then 4 people in the room the other 2 could not stay the night. At 8 pm they called the police saying we were throwing a party with over 20 people and 4 cops showed up. The police came in and were shocked that there we so little people in the room. They said they sent so many cause they were thinking it was 1 of them to 5 people. They said they couldn’t even hear us from the hall but the desk complained so they had to come. I will never rent from here again or recommend it to anyone. They tell you one thing then you pay and they turn it around and call the police.

Room was old and kind of gross. Bathroom didn't seem like it was cleaned. Poop stains in the toilet from previous guest, I was afraid to even shower. Old small tvs that get 10 channels in worse than standard definition. No mini fridge was the worst. I chose this place as It was closer to my destination, however I probably could have gotten a much nicer room for cheaper elsewhere. I know part of it was newly renovated so this is even more disappointing as I didn't see it. Also the grill and bar is closed on Mondays for whatever reason, another disappoint as we showed up hungry. Would stay anywhere else over the seaport after this experience.

It was a great space, cozy yet functional! Went for a weekend getaway from CT. It was clean and quiet. The front desk was very helpful and informational. The Maid Service was very attentive. The complimentary hot breakfast was good. Loved the grill next door. My boyfriend loved the area around it. We will definitely be back.
