Sears Hometown Store

My original review was not favourable as I had considerable trouble getting a nearly new lawn tractor repaired through Sears after purchasing it at this store. However, I called the store owner to express my frustration and he totally took care of the situation by going above and beyond to get us up and running with a new tractor. Thank you, you have a loyal customer thanks to your caring.

Very poor customer service, everything seems to be the customers fault, they say the'll call back and don't. Ordered a stove and 3 weeks went by with no call about delivery. Finally called them, and the stove had been back ordered! Nobody bothered to call and let us know that! The salesperson even told me that if I hadn't heard from them in the first 2 weeks after order I should have called. And then after another 2 weeks and me following up again, I was told that the stove was completely out of stock and had been discontinued and I would have to choose another stove, coming with another 3 week order time! They ended up finding a floor model in the back and they offered a discount because of all the problems, but never actually GAVE me the discount in the form of a credit on my card as I had already paid for the original order. When I called the owner, she said that the salesperson we worked with wasn't authorized to offer a discount! Wanted to buy from them because they were local, but through all of this I'd rather buy from a box store!

I went in looking for a part for my refrigerator. Helpful staff looked it up, but it was not a frige they sold. Still tried to find another way to get parts. That's what I call dedicated!

I will never EVER go to this store again .for anything.the owners seem hard working and nice. The technician (big heavy set guy)is the rudest miserable guy vie ever met .if I was his boss I would fire him .he acts like the customers owe him something. I myself try to keep my money in Hamilton. Guess the sears in missoula will get my money from here on out.
