Comfy, classic apartment community in the West Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia. There's lots of the usual updated amenities, but also plenty of vintage Art Deco charm. Only a short walk from the Carpenters Lane village shops, parks, and regional rail.
I love living here! Not very modern and no elevator, but a well-maintained, quaint, and quiet living experience.
They just cut down 3 trees by my windows. I miss them. They could have cut them back or trimmed them. I am so disappointed. Now I just see a brick wall and solar panels. Apparently there was mold growing on the building, but it didn't have to be so drastic.
Great location, horrible management. They want you to give 60 days notice before breaking your lease. If you give them 30 days, it's too late, your lease has already renewed, you are going to be charged for a final month's rent as well as a early termination fee equal to the cost of a months rent.
Maintenance responds quickly and does good work to keep up the appearance of the property.
Mr. Newton the maintenance man is one of the best people in the world.
