My granddaughter and I are looking for an apartment and we went to look at Greene Manor. Upon arrival we were greeted by a young lady by the name of Ms. Amiria Calhoun. She was very pleasant and helpful. She showed us the apartment as well as gave us a complete understanding of how the complex is handled. We were very pleased and because of Ms. Calhoun, we canceled our other apartment hunting and we have applied for Greene Manor Apartments. We admire the cleanliness, stability and the all around comfortably of the grounds. Thank You Ms. Calhoun
THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX! Upon move-in baseboard heaters were suppose to be replace. We stressed the importance of new baseboards because we have a 2 year old that runs around. Months later, no fix. We still live with rusted base boards that are falling apart. We were lied to prior to signing lease. Management stated they would replace base boards prior to move-in one of many broken promises. In the winter the heaters did not function properly. We ran the oven and bought space heaters to keep the unit warm. Our electric went out for 5 days. They sent a handyman out who could not fix the issue. Instead they ran extension cords through out the unit while we waiting for the wiring in the unit to be fixed 5 days later. Again, wires ran through our apartment with small kids. They refused to make any accommodations. The photo attached shows the extension cord they used to plug a fridge and stove into obviously a fire hazard. The other photos show the current condition after a water pipe busted. No accommodations have been made despite having a new born and two year old in the unit. I have videos and photos for anyone who wants to see that really goes on at the complex. Do not be fooled!
I scheduled a viewing for a move in on the 15th. My first viewing was cancelled with no heads up saying there was no showing times available. After I called to reschedule I was told the only time they had was 4:30 but I could call in for earlier time. When I called today I was told 4:30 was the only slot and the lady had a bad attitude. I was also told that i wouldnt be able to have a showing until Monday the 8th. Do not recommend this apartment complex based off of there demeanors alone.
I really appreciate all the staff at Greene Manor for their outstanding service. They are very polite, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Especial thanks to Ashley, the property manager, who was always responded to my email very quickly, and resolved the issues in a timely manner. My son, who lives at the Greene Manor apartment, is very happy with it thus far.
Among other apartment complexes, I think my property owner and her staff are the most important aspect to my experience in this building besides having a suitable home for myself and the rest of my household. Issues within their reach are handled almost exclusively by the next available maintenance opening or next business day, as soon as we reach out. This trait has to be the most important thing to me while living here. It’s very homey here!
When I moved into Greene Manor I was told that my apartment would be ready on my move in date. While I was moving in maintenance was still working in my apartment. There were roaches, & dead roaches lingering. This place is horrible, not to mention the property manager Paula is very ignorant & very unprofessional. She talks to her tenants and employees very horribly. I regret moving here and she's giving me such a hard time breaking my lease, so I'm stuck in this filthy invoronmet with leaks all over the place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF GREENE MANOR APARTMENTS FOR ANY CONSIDERATION. Disgusting place
Such a great place to live!!!! ! I love my apartment!!!!! It’s super spacious, up to date, stainless steel appliances with a gas stove! Super cute! Convenient location! Parking! I mean what else could you ask for! It’s coming on a year now and I couldn’t be more happy with maintenance, management and the friendly staff at Greene Manor. I’ve only came across a few issues within my apartment in regards to maintenance since I’ve moved in. And I must say, all issues were handled in a timely and professional matter. I look forward to many years at Greene manor Apartments I’m really happy here! Thank you!
Paula has been great managing the property. She ensures the property is well kept and managed. The maintenance team is always on point with making repairs. The cleaning staff ensures that common areas are cleaned. I’ve been here for over 13yrs and would recommend the property and the area in general.
I love living here at Greene Manor! Everyone here is very friendly, staff and neighbors. Upon move-in, the maintenance staff made sure everything was in top condition, and the leasing staff was very thorough with the check list. My floor is nice and quiet. Valet trash and elevators are definitely a plus. The hub lockers and leasing office make receiving packages easy, safe, and convenient. I also appreciate the beautiful courtyard. This is, by far, the best apartment I've lived at in Philly; 10/10 would recommend!
I could not wait until my lease was up. Do not move here. The property manager; Paula is extremely disrespectful and if you have an issue she is quick to gaslight you. When I moved in, the apartment was dirty and had water damage. That was the first red flag. Then because it is an old building, the water heater in the walls is beyond loud. I have been woken up at 2am to banging in the walls numerous times. It was unbearable. Don’t be fooled by the discounted move in prices, this is no place to live. There are always car break in’s and when I asked Paula about camera’s in the parking lot she said to my face “camera’s don’t stop crime”. I will never forget it. The cameras are for your tenants to feel a sense of safety. That showed me she did not care about the tenants. Karma is real lady.
