Great bubble tea and fun atmosphere. They also have some very nice bar seating and feature local artists work. Only downside is the place is a bit small and can fill up and get loud easily.

HUGE variety of tea (I believe around 100) that you can purchase loose leaf, by the cup (hot and iced) and by the pot. I personally go for the bubble teas and jelly. You can still pick from the wide variety but there's Boba!

The place is not without its flaws, but overall a wonderful place to spend your time, whether it’s for studying, hanging out with friends, taking a brief respite from State St., or learning all you can about tea! I would prefer the music to be quieter (but then, I would prefer that at nearly all coffeeshops I’ve been to, and most are far worse offenders than Sencha), and I have had my drink made anywhere from far too sweet to no sweetener at all when the order called for some, but despite that, Sencha is by far the best tea and bubble tea house in West and downtown Madison. Their tea and bubble offerings are the widest in town, and the people and art that fill the space are amongst the best. I have been coming here since its very first incarnation, Steepery, opened (in what, 2010?), and I hope the fact that I’ve given these criticisms but still keep coming back convinces you that this place is worth a shot.

I love Sencha! Every time I go, the staff is even nicer to me than the time before, which I thought was impossible! The whole team is super kind and fun to talk to and never seem in a rush even when they're incredibly busy! 👍👏
