Brought our dogs (Westie and Cairn) in for grooming. My daughter picked the dogs up for us and was told that one of our dogs had abscesses in his mouth that needed to be checked by our vet. We had extensive dental work done on the dog (including extractions) within the last 30 days which had been causing him to lick incessantly. We simply asked Shoreline to trim the fur back away from his mouth in hopes that he might stop "slurping" the fur along his mouth a bit. We didn't go there seeking "Veterinary Advice". Additionally, Holly the owner, aside from giving the vet advice, felt the need to be a fashion critic as well and chastised my daughter for having faux fur on the hood of her jacket. My daughter assured her that it was faux fur because she would NEVER wear real fur. Well, Holly still felt the need to be even more rude by telling her "she should rip the fur off of the hood". As a result of Shoreline's abscess "diagnosis", we did have the dog re-checked by our vet (a waste of $55 and our vet's time) who shook his head, said that it is completely normal, not abscesses and it was silly for a groomer to be dishing out vet advice and "diagnosing conditions". I called Holly to voice my displeasure and she simply accused my daughter of lying and then told me that I was "making a mountain out of a molehill". She also said she doesn't need to listen to any such criticism and certainly never even entertained the thought of apologizing. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN and know several people who have stopped doing business there due to Holly's big mouth and over opinionated personality. I'd give ZERO stars if it was an option.

I wanted to get my cat groomed, so I called them and was unpleasantly surprised when the person I was talking to was rude. She was very condescending, speaking to me as if I was a child, saying that she had been grooming cats longer than I had been alive. Excuse me? I'm sorry if my voice sounds young? But no, I'm a 27 year old full grown adult, thank you. I deserve to be treated with respect. I was never once rude to her. I hung up, and needless to say, I will not be doing any business with them. Period.

Holly & Jenn are wonderful people to deal with! I have been going to them for 15 years now. My Dogs have always come back looking wonderful and well rested like a day at the Spa!
They were also very helpful when i rescued my puppy from Georgia and she came up on a transport, Jenn told me she would stay open long enough for me to bring her directly to her to be bathed. That was something you dont see now a days!
Thanks again Holly and Jenn for your caring and your expertise at grooming my girls throughout the years!!!

After 15 years of bringing my prior Airedale to be cut by Patrick the owner had nothing pleasant to say about him. I informed her that because of my past experience with Patrick I would give her a chance to earn my business with my 9 month old Airedale.
I brought my dog there to get a quote and see how she did on the table. The owner told me she would do it for $67 even though she was not the best on the table. After she was cut the following week I brought $90 to give the groomer as I knew it was going to be a difficult cut - I was giving this regardless of what the haircut looked like.
When I went in to pick her up the owner told me it was $106 and that there was an ATM around the corner. This is bad business ethics - all she had to do was tell me prior that the price would range and or give me a call to let me know.
The owner was also rude to me on both experiences by disagreeing with my training methods (I guess she know better than a Private trainer with over 35 years of experience and who has trained more than 20,000 dogs).
I will not be returning to this groomer.
