My family and I had an amazing vacation at SML. We don't get to take vacations together often and we found SML Vacation Rentals so professional and eager to please. They went way beyond what I had expected to ensure that we had a stress-free vacation. Josy (not sure this is the correct spelling of her name) is a true hospitality pro. I owe her.

We found the total opposite of the other reviewer. The property manager called us promptly when there was an issue with the refrigerator and she offered to refund part of our money when we had difficulty with the washing machine. I agree that I prefer to be able to speak to someone (customer service) but reserving the house online was easy and check-in was a breeze! We would recommend SML Vacation Rentals to anyone looking to visit the lake and needing a place to stay - the staff will even offer linens, if needed. Naturally, the linens were extra but we came prepared to stay at a hotel on the lake only to find that there are few available. Renting a home is the way to go at the lake and I would highly recommend calling SMLVR and speaking to the property manager to find a house that will suit your needs! Just remember this, a bad day on the lake is better than a good day at work!
