Smoothie King - Washington

This Smoothie King is located very close to everything! Perfect location. They keep the location pretty minimally staffed but during COVID the service has been pretty quick bc there aren’t as many folks coming through. You order online for even faster service! A+

Smoothie King I walked in on Wednesday the 27th of January at 5:30 pm with my family and our service animal who is certified. We could hear an employee at the back of the store in the kitchen area, and we waited politely to be served. After a few minutes it was apparent that the employee was not aware that we were there waiting to be served. I called out hello. The employee came to the front of the store, behind the counter, and as soon as he saw our Service animal he started to say that animals were not allowed in the store. Our service animal had her vest on and you could clearly see that one of the people in our party was disabled and needed the Service Animal. I politely explained that she was a service animal. He clearly wasn’t happy, and I didn’t push the matter further. My daughter ordered a smoothie. My daughter sat down at one of the open stools by the counter and the employee was quick to tell her she couldn’t sit there. She wasn’t able to sit anywhere, everywhere we tried to stand, lean or sit while we waited for her smoothie this employee took great pleasure in informing us that we couldn’t sit because of COVID. Mind you this employee did not wear a facial mask at all the entire time, however he was behind his plexi-glass. I couldn’t help feeling as if he was punishing us for something. While I was paying I saw that they sell C4 drinks – I took one out of the fridge with a bottle of water, and asked him to ring everything up. It was then that he told me he wasn’t going to sell the C4 to me. I asked him why, and he looked at me, and told me they didn’t have it. I looked at the can of C4 and looked at him and said – you do sell it, here it is. He looked at me again and said – no it’s not in our system I am not selling it to you. Honestly I didn’t know what to say. I was shocked. This was the first time ever that someone has refused to sell me anything in their store. I looked at him dumbfounded, and he looked at me and smiled. This employee actually discriminated against us because of our legal, certified service animal. I will never go back, ever.

I am sooo glad they added smoothie king here! I order through the app and my smoothies are ready soon as I walk through the door. It was delicious as always. The store is always clean when I go, friendly employees. No complaints!

I started out he day somewhat late, and finding this place along my way was an excellent find. I had been to other locations in the city, so I already had an idea about what to expect. The e difference with this store I noticed was the inviting feel of the place. They have an awesome booth setup at the very front that can seat at least four strangers comfortably. After quickly checking out the menu, I didn't see anything new, so I decided to order the same smoothie that I usually get. The Hulk type of smoothie is a fitness type of smoothie, and it has a wonderful blend of ingredients that make it taste wonderful! I know it has pecans, bananas, ice cream, and some other stuff that give it a nice kick. I placed my order, and in less than five minutes I was out the door enjoying my awesome smoothie!

I tried smoothie king for the first time and it was amazing! Joseph that manager was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I got the power punch and he recommended adding blueberries. 10/10 would recommend!

It’s ridiculously HOT in this location and has been for the last couple of days. The AC is broken, I’m sweating just from coming in placing an order. I feel bad for the employees. I haven’t seen a manager in the store while the AC has been broken. Way to go Smoothie King in 90 degree weather. I am sure management knew it was breaking before actually broke.

Updated rating to 5. The manager called me within 2 days. He apologized and offered a replacement smoothie and a gift card. Most importantly, he emphasized to me the importance of guaranteed customer satisfaction. Thank you so much.

Great smoothie place with the perfect drinks available after gym workouts. Dropped by for the first time on Veterans’s Day because they had 1 free 20oz smoothie for veterans. Tried the Island Impact and it was so refreshing. Will definitely return again soon. They have $1 up Fridays - only $1 to upgrade any 20oz to 32oz. Clean location and speedy service.

Worst place ever. Ordered 4 times for curb side pick up and every time they never do curb side pick up. Each time had to park a couple blocks away and walk inside to pick up. Tried calling but no one picks up. Stay away from this location. The workers are either lazy or don’t know what curb side pick up is.
