Songbird Prairie Bed and Breakfast Inn and Spa

My wife and I stayed here on a little getaway and it was fantastic!! The people there were so nice and provided excellent service. We stayed in the robin suite and it was beautiful. It had a huge jacuzzi tub for two, and even had a heated toilet seat! The bed was extremely comfortable. The entire facility is well maintained and perfect for a romantic getaway. The breakfast in the morning topped the whole trip off. It was awesome to watch the birds while eating a 3 course meal. I can't recommend this place enough!!

Barbara and Efrain are the most wonderful and caring hosts, who succeeded to establish one of the world's most amazing Bead and Breakfasts. I have traveled extensively all over the world, frequently staying in youth hostels, Bed and Breakfasts and (besides hotels and resorts of all sorts) other hotel alternatives. And I have never experienced a more unique environment that is founded on excellency, perfection, outstanding customer service and relations (just to name a few) than at the Songbird Prairie B&B. Not even 5 start hotels can compare to what you'll experience here! Barbara's and Efrain's love for wildlife, nature, for what they do and for where they are fills every atom of this exceptional establishment (or getaway opportunity)! And the breakfast...well.... you just have to go and experience for yourself! I promise, you have never seen or tried anything as delicious, beautifully plated and inimitable in every sense! I'm happy to say that after our second stay at the unsurpassed Songbird Prairie B&B, we will be returning again soon, craving for more of what it has to offer!

What a lovely way to spend a weekend. The hosts were so welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. On the way home we spent the drive to Chicago (which was about an hour at most) debating whether the food was better or the birds. You feel like the birds are there with you. Amazing.

Amazing time coming here! We had a small gathering at Songbird Prairie for my mom and her friends to have tea. We were accommodated on a day that was not typical for their tea and were treated like absolute royalty. The food was delicious and the decor was cozy. We could not have asked for a better time. Barbara and her husband are the nicest people and made this experience unforgettable. I am so grateful we stumbled upon Songbird Prairie online. We will definitely be back!!!

Quite possibly the best B&B available for the price! My better half and I enjoyed lavish spa care, beautifully and artistically prepared delicious breakfasts (surprisingly the best coffee I've tasted anywhere away from home), and relaxed in a beautiful suite with a heavenly comfortable bed, 2 person Jacuzzi spa tub, and heated toilet seat!!!! also a great selection of on hand dvd's. I got to watch James Bond!
