Sonic Drive-In

This has to be one of the worst franchise locations I have ever been to. They are always out of ingredients and half the time cannot complete your order. The staff here are either incompetent and can't efficiently complete their required job duties or have absolutely no regard for the their customers time or convenience, the wait time here to receive you our order is ridiculous and sometimes reaches up to and excess of 25 min. Horrible experience.

My burger was cold and sonic blast was already half melted when they handed the meal… Their drink machines was also broken that day. The cashier was friendly but besides that the food quality wasn’t worth the long drive thru wait.

Sat in a stall for a few minutes looking at the menu. There weren't any other customers, either in the drive through or stalls. I pressed the red button to order and no one ever responded. The screen said it was activated but after waiting for 5 minutes for someone to speak we left without ordering.Service: 1/5

I placed an order on the mobile app, arrived at the restaurant and parked in a stall as the app states. I typed in my stall number and was informed that my order was still being prepared. About 15 minutes passed and my order disappeared from the app. I pressed to call button on the screen and was told to come to the drive through where I waited another 12 minutes for an order that was placed prior to my arrival. Why have stalls if you are only taking drive-through orders? Why would the app state park in a stall if the customer is told to use the drive-through after already waiting for their order at a stall. Very inconsiderate of the customers time. It’s called fast-food for a reason. My total encounter time was 32 minutes. I will not waste time at this location again.

I had a great cash app boost for Sonic, which I haven't had in forever, and my local Gardendale Sonic went away a few years ago so... I went! curious to see what was new on the menu. My stomach growling, I perused the menu and, as my nostalgia for the many classics came to mind, my mouth watered for some greasy, yet ever so delicious, guilty pleasure food. I had a familiar and happily welcomed strawberry limeade with a burger combo. It was brought to my window by the server and I happily tipped the nice young lady as I eagerly awaited my goodies. A few tots to start and I dug in. Long story short, it was a magnificent day of fast food eatery. Now, I was upset to see they didn't have the many varieties of 6 inch hot dogs, such as the junk yard dog, Chicago dog, etc. However, I was lucky and happy to enjoy them when they were on the menu so no worries, though they will be missed :,. Anyways, if you like Sonic then here ya go. In summary, great prices for a big menu of everything. I'll be back! Thanks for making it to the end of this review. Go enjoy some Sonic Drive In!!!

I used to have great experiences with this location but not lately and definitely not tonight. I was at the Drive Thru for 16 minutes and no one ever came to take my order. There was a line of cars behind me and absolutely no one in front of me. I know this because my niece got out of the car and walked around to check. I drove around to the window and saw three staff members conversing with each other. I assume everyone was on break at the same time. Horrible Experience

I would leave a 0 but Google doesn't allow zeroes. I WILL NEVER USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN! My boyfriend and I have been to this location before and they're always out of something. Last night we were charged for 2 separate orders that weren't ours. I'm assuming our order was never properly rang up because they couldn't find our ticket or they gave the people in front of us our food. We sat at the window for almost 30 mintutes. I had to read off to the girl at the window what we had ordered. They had us park in a stall. We waited 10 minutes with no answer while every car in the drive thru and all the stalls were served. I pressed the button for assistance but nobody answered. The girl finally came outside to read off my correct order. We waited another 15 minutes with no answer. I had to pull someone else aside to ask if there was any update. This person said our order had been cancelled... we hadn't received a refund from the 2nd wrong order they charged us and no nobody had said that it had been cancelled. So she went inside and got more information. When she finally came out she had to ask again what my order was. She said it would be out in a few minutes. We spent an hour in total trying to get food. When they finally brought the food to us, it was still wrong. Both drinks and the ice cream were incorrect flavors and sizes. At this point we just left cause we weren't gonna waste anymore of our time. Sonic needs to do better! I shouldn't have to stand over your employees' shoulders to make sure I get the right food that we paid for.

Went to sonic to get some hot dogs for my kids. Went through the drive thru and the lady taking the order was very polite however when we pull up to the window two young boys were shoving each other around cursing at each other. I asked if everything was alright and one of them stuck their head out the window at me and yelled " WHAT, WHAT, WHATCHU SAY, WUS CRACKIN". My husband had to lean over me to tell them stop playing around, give us our food or our money back. Our hot dogs were doused in relish to the point the buns were completely soggy by the time we made it home. 4min drive. Needless to say this location doesn't care about professionalism or quality food so we won't be back.

Today, Friday 12, 2021 on the Sonic App they have it where you get A BLAST FOR ANY SIZE FOR HALF OFF until 28 February 2021. One Time purchase I ordered the Medium size Snickers Blast and just look at the all that ice cream, and snicker bars. Oh! Oh! Soooo good! You’ve got to download the app and get all types of bargains. Plus, it’s already ready when you arrive. You just pull up in the stall, click I’m here in the app and put your stall number. Next, your food comes out. Now, download the Sonic App and enjoy, just look at my BLAST!

Just got the nastiest looking milkshake I have ever seen before at this SONIC. I decided to take advantage of the 1/2 price milkshake offer, but unfortunately this is what I got. SONIC would have had to pay me just to attempt to drink whatever this is that I received. I had to wait a while for my order, and the workers seemed to have little desire to serve customers. I will have to remember to never come back to this SONIC location, and I would recommend others to check out other places instead. However, if nasty food and horrible service are your favorite things, I would advise you to come to this SONIC.
