Isn't it odd that the only positive review for this company is a gushing five-star rating? I did promos for this place at the Tulsa state fair and yes, it is definitely a scam. Any kind of booth that involves vacation packages are shady and the promoters will tell you whatever you wanna hear so just keep walking, don't even look interested. They will happily lie to you in order to get your hard-earned cash....

They contacted me for a 'Free Vacation" - to watch and listen to a sales pitch, this was about a year ago. I was so angry to find out their lies. They vacation was not free. It would cost me around 300.00 for some hidden 'fees' they do not tell you about.
So, its a scam. I am planning my honeymoon, and looking for a agent, because of their lies, I would never trust them again, let alone plan a vacation for me.
Shame on you! Southern Journey's !

Total Scam!!!!! Everything they told us to get us to a meeting was a lie. No free vacation, no $20 cash given back and $100 dinner coupon was another scam. Wasted our time, wasted our money and wasted our trust. David, you should be ashamed of lying and cheating good people for your ferrari's... Scum Bag!!!

Southern journeys is definitely worth it if your family takes a yearly vacation. Why not save money?? I got a free 4 day cruise, gas gift card, and $20 JUST for watching their sales pitch. They were not pushy to buy anything to get my free gifts. I took an hour out of my time and got a free cruise! This place is legit and i will definitely consider buying a package from them after interacting with them.

Some guy who was clearly calling from a call center overseas (accent and heavy background noise of other callers) has called me multiple times (same fake name) was calling me to inform me that I and my significant other/ co-habitation partner or spouse has won an all-expense trip to anywhere in continental US that is absolutely no cost whatsoever with no hidden fees, gimmicks or charges. He said the catch was I had to attend a 90 minute meeting at this address (where he said he was calling from several times) and I agreed. He then passed the phone to someone who spoke English a bit better who explained everything in detail and set up a time for me to go to this appointment, which gave me ample time to look up the company name and the several complaints they have at the BBB under the different variations of their company, such as their Texas company. Fact is, what they are offering you is not free at all. Aside from taxes and any hidden fees that are there, it is taking up your time. No company is going to give you and anyone else their cold-calling telemarketing company sends their way thousands of dollars in airfare, cruises and hotel expenses just so they can get a good review or word-of mouth.
