Forget Stuy, this is the better school to get into. The grade is A, B, etc... not 99.2 or 99.12. So, no overheated cheating or overzealous competition that makes kids mental. The teachers are top quality & the top students r doing top Univ level research. If you can get in then it's FREE! The best school I have ever seen (either public or private). I am a pleased parent.

the school is legit so extra to the point you hate it and the school's interior is dirty af (like seriously the bathroom and cafeteria looks like it hasn't even been cleaned at all). the lockers smell so bad. on the other hand the teachers are great,but for incoming freshman they don't give you free ipads anymore, they require you to bring your own. rip to new incoming students bc you don't have weighted averages anymore and theres no more native russian class for ppl who know russian already. this school is so small you may not get into you're choice of ap classes if you're grades aren't that great compared to other top students. this an aspect why brooklyn tech is better than this school
