Steel Creek Campground

Great campsite by the Buffalo. Campground has bathrooms with running water and the sites are nice even if you can't get one against the woods. Can get a little loud as groups here tend to meet and have fun late into night. Its easy to get down the road compared to some of the campgrounds on the buffalo like Kyle's Landing. Ranger has always been nice. If you float you can put in here.

probably my all time favorite place to camp in arkansas. usually pretty crowded, but that's for a reason. it's right along the buffalo and the view is absolutely spectacular. it's also super close to a lot of great trails in the area, which gives you tons to do. unexpected bonus: the facilities have always been well maintained whenever we've camped here.

Pleasent place to camp! You have supplies store in about 2miles from there, in Ponca. The supplies store also has free wifi, just in case of emergency cuz it is very less likely that you would receive any signal at the campsite. There is Buffalo river flowing adjacent to the camp site!! Very pleasant experience.

The place is very nice for kayaking and camping and its very clean. I would give it 5 stars but it does not have showers.

Beautiful place. Need to upgrade the restrooms. Bring earplugs. There are frisky whippoorwills
