The staff in my opinion believe they can't be replaced. My interactions with these folks have been poor. Their soft skills are lacking and looking at other posts on here it looks like I'm not the only unhappy person. I'm grateful to be able to share my opinion. Look for facilities that meet your needs. Call them and ask them questions. Thanks

I have been going to this clinic for years and years and never have I ever had any problems in the past. I made an appointment last fall 4 my yearly checkup so that I could get my prescriptions refilled. That is how I told the appointment scheduler what I needed. She put me in for a med consult not a yearly physical but a med consult. I am on one prescription that I need every day and then another prescription I need for when I have migraines that is it. Why would I need a med consult for two medications I've been taking for the last 18 years??? So because it was labeled that for the scheduling I got billed $140 for a 15 minute visit that the nurse who wasn't my regular nurse was very rude to me. It was the end of the day and she was about had it I think for the day so I got the blunt end of that. Then I try to explain my situation when I got my bill and what I went for nobody wanted to help me correct the issue. I do believe that in retail or any other field that the customer is always right. I guess not in this field the patients are never right. Don't clinic and hospitals get enough money that they don't need to screw their regular patients? Then today I called to make an appointment for a physical, I asked the appointment scheduler if my doctor is in she says yes I asked if she has any available appointments open she says yes. She takes my name address date of birth and all the other information and then asks me what's it for. I tell her I need a physical, she says oh well I can't get you you for that that takes 40 minutes and she only has a 20-minute availability. I tried to explain to her that I wrote it need 40 minutes as I just saw her for which was supposed to be a physical and it wasn't scheduled that way. She continued to say that she could get me an another day but not today, my doctor only works 2 or 3 days a week. I am done with that clinic. I love my doctor but I hate the clinic! They need to get the rear end out of their heads

I've been going to SMG for 17 years and have gone through the revolving door of Dr's. Today I have hit a wall! I'm so sick of trying to find someone who will get to know me and my family. I am sick of having someone tell me I need a primary ( really that would be nice if you could keep them around) yes I would like someone not a random telling me what they think and shoving me out the door. (there's a wonderful button you can push to show 17 years of my history) Better question maybe they should listen BEFORE they schedule appointments so you don't end up with a super self centered person who can't relate to anything you have going on. I know this is a strange concept but I know my body and with the money I am paying you, you should take time to know whats going on or recommend someone else who might care. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE AND THEY JUST KEEP GOING 100 MPH DOWN HILL!

I called last Monday like aset up an appointment with my doctor for my 6month check up. Was informed that she was no longer there, no reason as to why. They set up an appointment with Dr Miller for yesterday. Went in for said app. It went bad from the get go, he had a major attitude, ( god complex ) Did not agree with my treatment plan that was set up by Mayo 4 years ago, would not listen to what I was saying and bad mouth my old doctor. I ended up walking out. He treated me like a junkie or that I was stupid. Not going back. So now I have no meds. And I think I have had it with doctors.

Stillwater Medical is more focused on $$$ than the well being of their patients. The lab refused to complete blood work orders from a specialty provider, since my daughter hadn't been seen by Stillwater physicians in the last 12 months. Now, seriously, she has been seen there - multiple times - the most recent 15 months ago. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been healthy, so hasn't needed a doctor visit. That didn't matter, they refused to run her blood work and indicated I needed to make an appointment with a physician. (For what?!? She's not sick, just needs a blood draw!) This "policy" exists for them to garner increased $$$ from unnecessary office visits. They certainly don't have the best interest of their patients in mind, just $$$.
