My wife had her first mammogram. She was informed a lymph node was out of place inside the breast, not the chest wall. The Doctor recommended a biopsy to make sure it was not cancerous. We had a biopsy. I observed the procedure and that Lymph node was destroyed by that biopsy. Multiple pokes of the tiny thing with a needle, until it was almost not visible on the screen. My wife reported that she has since lost feeling or sensation in that breast. "Just to be sure" was an unnecessary procedure. And the mammogram and biopsy cost about $5000 before insurance. If you go to this facility, just be aware of the risk of unnecessary procedures. Both the tech and the Doctor's said this was a lymph node, yet just to be sure, we had the biopsy. It was not cancer. We listened to the Doctor's advice, swept away by Doctor worship. How foolish. We should never have had the biopsy "just to be sure." I absolutely regret it, and that I did not do more to protect my wife.
