Awesome views. The hike was worth it. 1. Parking available below the summit and hike trail is next to it. 2. No paved path to the peak, so Wheel chair or stroller can't be taken to the top. 3. No restrooms or shops nearby. 4. Picnic and camping locations nearby. 5. Have to pay to enter the state park and reach the summit. 6. Be sure to carry some water and you may need it.

ON TOP OF THE WORLD!! Such a great easy hike for all to do. Pets are NOT allowed but don't let that deter you from taking this gorgeous hike. You will see some of the coolest trees and rocks along the way. When you reach the top, enjoy the scenery and have a lunch!

Beautiful views await you on this fabulous hike. Definitely a hike as it is directly up. Makes it short but can be a little wear on your knees. No pets allowed on the trail but that doesn't include children so I do encourage you to make this a family affair. Please watch the children by the rocks though easy to tumble and trip.

One of the easiest hikes on Shenandoah with majestic views. Time it to be at the Overlook for sunset and carry headlamp to return at light fall. From parking lot it's less than a mile. Takes about 45 mins.
