Love The Strand Theater in Delaware, Ohio! Unique old updated movie house in the heart of beautiful downtown Delaware. Newer comfort seating, great popcorn, good senior rates, and the classic wonder of the yesteryear movie experience in an updated atmosphere.

Great environment. Nice seating, but a bit snug on leg room. Public parking is right around the corner too

This strand theatre is one of the oldest theatres in the country. Even though it's old they can keep up with the times with comfortable seating and a wide selection of hit movies. This is all round a great place to go for 7 dollars a person if you include snacks which aren't crazy priced like other theatres. I can't believe the service that's provided. The workers are so nice and are helpful when it comes to theater finding. I love this place and so will you.

Checked on line for showtimes today to take my husband to the movies for his birthday. Note on the door said closed will reopen tomorrow. Dummer. Can't get on line and let people know before they drive there? Marcus Cinema got our money today. Guess we will call ahead next time first, to make sure your open.

I went with my boyfriend and two sons. We saw Peter Rabbit. The staff was so nice and kind. The prices are very awesome compared to other movie theaters. It was clean and the seats were comfy.
