Gateway Film Center

Absolutely the best theatre in town. They always have interesting indie films you can't see elsewhere in the city as well as all the big movies coming out. Students get a discount and tickets are $5 on Tuesdays with a little free popcorn. The parking situation is good and you can get $2 parking validation for the gateway garage. I sincerely love the GFC and couldn't recommend seeing a movie here enough.

Nice mid-size theater that provides a cozy venue for the college students. It has a restaurant & bar in edition to the theater so u can have beer with your movie. I don't drink beer but I had the popcorn & soda/pop. They only carry Coke products which was a bummer because I like Pepsi products. I hope they will change to provide more variety & options to the consumer.

Best movie theater around. Always clean, staff is nice. They often have special events and have a great selection of movies.

Tuesday night $5 movie night. Free popcorn.. I recommend the membership. Scott is very helpful. Great service and wonderful experience.

This is my favorite place to see movies in Columbus. The price of admission is good, especially if you are a student. The concessions are cheap for a theater, the bar looks nice but I haven't gotten anything there yet. I like that they validate parking and that I don't have to worry about that. Others have mentioned that the sound is just ok, honestly I notice no difference in sound quality? The staff is really nice,courteous. The theaters are really clean and comfortable. It's never been too busy there for me even though it's a smaller place. They have art in the hallway leading back to the theater, all the different art exhibitions have been really nice. The most important thing though is the selection of films they show at the Gateway. As a person who likes arthouse, indie, international and generally less mainstream films this place has been a godsend. Many times this theater will get films that are exclusive or don't have large releases. It's really a very nice place.
