The Drexel is an amazing independent theater. All of the people that work there are amazing and the prices are super reasonable. Don't miss their monthly showing of The Room and make sure to bring plastic spoons. Also, check out their bathrooms. They could be in the Louvre (still as bathrooms and not art but they're that fancy. France fancy.).

Great place, local business, historical building. They are always playing at least one classic, and at least one up-and-coming film. Inexpensive food+drink. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Popcorn isn’t bad. Serves soft drinks. Good decor. Recently renovated, which is sad, because it is a historical building. Clean restrooms.

I have viewed many films at the Drexel Theater over the years; I am glad that they are still in business.
I had been at the Drexel Theater most recently not to view a film but because I had needed an Uber ride home from Capital University [actually Trinity Lutheran Seminary where I had been attending a concert].
I had decided to walk to the Drexel Theater, 2254 E. Main St., to request my Uber ride home because every building on the Capital University campus [and the Trinity Lutheran Seminary campus] has exactly the same street address; I had assumed that my Uber driver would be far more likely to find me at the Drexel Theater.

Love the new look. Chairs very comfortable. Price is very reasonable. Floor was Spotless . Like that there wasn't a huge crowd. staff super friendly . Movie selection are good even if they are not block busters.

Super cool theater. It looks gorgeous from the outside, feels comfortable on the inside. It's always showing the most interesting and exciting movies, some old some new. It's always worth the price at of admission at The Drexel, even if the movie you see is garbage.
