Sucré

Great concept but everything seems over the top sweet. I guess that's why they call it sucre'. In Europe where I've been to places like this, the chocolate, the ice cream, are more balanced, not overly sweet.

Such a cute bakery! Everything here is always so delicious. I always have to buy a few things to bring back home.

Great place and lovely staff. Food is next to perfect. I always leave with a smile. I go at least 4 times a week for my sucre fix. Management is amazing and the place is always a spotless.

Only getting 3 stars based on the quality of the food. We stop here for a special treat whenever we are in New Orleans or passing through. I have always had great customer service until today. When I checked my receipt and noticed I wasn't charged for something, I expected at least an acknowledgement, possibly gratitude for catching the $8 mistake. Nope. Sidney just rung up the missing item and asked if I wanted the receipt.

Was at AT&T with a lovely bunch of gentlemen who were outside having some lunch at their tables. Was about to go to Sucre with my family when the manager stepped outside and asked them to move. She was quite rude. I saw at least 2 or 3 people go from the neighboring AT&T Store into her cafe. I certainly will not be going to this location after seeing how the manager treated these gentlemen. She should think about where the majority of her traffic comes from and how much business they send her. The food may be decent but I simply can't support treating someone like that because you don't like the smell of their food. Seems a little petty.
