I opened an account and a hold was put on the funds understandable. However, once I had verification that the check had cleared from the other institution I called to request the funds be made available. The customer service line told me they couldn't release the funds but clearly informed me that the branch manager could do this for me. When I went into this branch and asked to talke to the manager, the teller I spoke with told me that the branch manager couldn't help me and that Truist corporate tells everyone that just to get them to visit the branch. She refused to allow me to speak to the manager. So I waited another week for the release date and issued a check which Truist REFUSED PAYMENT ON. This is no ordinary account, this is a trust that is involved in a complicated legal situation for an elderly relative and this account has implications far beyond my ability to describe it here. Truist has REALLY caused serious legal problems for me regarding a nursing home situation. Of course, no one at the branch will speak with me other than a teller who conveniently "can't discuss specifics over the phone". As I am writing this I have been on hold over 20 minutes with Truist's customer service line trying to learn why they returned this check. Don't bank here, they do not take their responsibility as fiduciaries seriously!!!
Do not go there. I hate BoA but I'd rather go to BoA than this branch. Nothing get done there, because they don't even know their own banking system. Spend 2 hours on a simple transaction, they failed, so just to have to call the main headquarter to square things out. At least BoA you wait but get it done.
The managers are awful/ no service/ they just go to “work”. Not able to get a credit card that already expired. Two months of requesting that but no card has been sent . At this moment I am requesting chatting online and I have to wait minimum 30 mins for someone to help me. Expected!
I am not usually one to complain, but I feel that this was something that really was worth writing about. Very frustrated. I opened a business account for my film company and that day ordered checks - it was imperative that I needed them to pay several individuals and companies to start my production and after 16 days and still not receiving either my debit card or checks I called the bank for the status and they informed me no checks were ordered! This was so appalling to me that they just let this slide when so much was depending on this - then they told me I had to come into the bank to order new checks and on top of this then pay upfront an expedited shipping fee for their mistake. I am told I will have the fee returned which is helpful, but this is little help when such a huge detail was overlooked when I made certain that the bank employee I opened the account with was certain to know that I was needing checks for my business. This was a real let-down for me and has caused a lot of problems and I certainly hope that I get my debit card soon and my checks in a timely manner now.
I was at this location waiting for somebody to talk to me about my account for 40 minutes and somebody came to say that “ maybe they can not help me today and I need to make an appointment online “ Gosh they need to work right with the clients . Very disappointed with “sun Truist” …
They got rid of the smart ATM.
waited for 45 min to sign a signature card...cmon you can do better than that Suntrust!
Web site says was open til 1pm but arrived And only open til 12
It close at 12:00 on Saturday not 1:00 p.m!
Slow service. Most of the time under staffed.
