This is one of the best braches I've been to! They were so helpful! The wait times are not long and they communicate with you about the timing for getting the help you need. The manager, Ms. Peaches, remembers your name and is all smiles. And the rep Barrett Johnson was so knowledgeable and efficient! Just really awesome experience. This will now be my home branch!
I walked into this bank and immediately was greeted by its manager Peaches. She proved to be a delightful person. Her assistant helped me to make changes to my checking and savings account with Bank of America. Chaochao assisted me in making the changes that I needed. He was very good with the computer and did all the work that was needed. THANK YOU to Peaches and Chaochao, job well done!
Great customer service. Frances went out of her way to help me solve my banking problem. To the point where she pulled stamps out of her purse so I could mail a letter on time. She was sensitive to my time and allowed me to leave while she did some research. However, I had to wait 20 minutes to see her. She and the teller appeared to be the only ones working when I arrived. Physically, the appearance is run down compared to other, more updated, Bank of America branches. So I discounted a start because of the physical appearance. Customer Service gets a 5/5.
Very slow and they do not answer their phone
Always understaffed and told to wait 30 minutes. I can hear the phone ringing in the background as the manager and the one other worker is casually talking. I decided to sit in bc last time I went they also had a wait time. The manager tries to whip up conversation and started asking really personal questions. I said I don’t feel comfortable talking about it but she Francis kept poking at that same topic. Will be the last time I ever go here. Don’t waste your time.
Have to email to make an appt. to get to your safe deposit box because this branch is only open a few days a week. The new branch in downtown Decatur doesn't have safe boxes. Of course like every big business the phone menus are specifically designed to prevent you from actually talking to an appropriate representative.
This kind of service is why I don’t bank with Bank of America. I arrived at 11:45am to cash a check. As I walk to the teller she says “ sir the teller line is down for 30 minutes”. Seems like management would have someone to cover the teller line for lunch breaks. Now that I see this branches reviews. This all makes sense.
Walked in and wasn't greeted AT ALL. I continued to stand at the desk waiting for someone working to come up and ask me how may I be helped; I never was asked - although I was seen SEVERAL times. The fact that the employees saw me waiting and said NOTHING. So then I proceed to sit myself, as maybe they're too busy. When they ALL were completely free, I STILL WAS NOT TALKED TO OR ANYTHING..... this is absurd. I have NEVER walked into a BOA and get treated as such. I've been waiting over an hour, as there was a customer before me after they all freed up, however, again - no acknowledgement of my presence with her and i both waiting for a long period. Yet, people walking in after me received some type of acknowledgement. I would leave if i didnt waste so much time already AND actually need to be serviced.....
This is the worst Bank of America I have been to as a member since 2004. I waited for 20 minutes before being told I would have to wait another 30 before being helped. One person working at as a teller and I could tell there were 4 other people who worked there doing nothing but gossiping with each other. How unprofessional. I wasted a whole lunch waiting to not receive any help. The employees should be re-evaluated since they are not really doing their jobs or helping those who are in need.
This is THE worst BofA in the whole world. The service is slow, these people are not qualified to work at a gas station let alone a bank. The simplest request caused confusion and chaos in the branch with people calling the back office and all. After 30 minutes of senseless torture, I was lead to believe my request was submitted and would be complete in 24 hours. Yeah right... After more than a week later, I'm still angry and disappointed because my request hasn't been completed. Never coming back here again. A disaster
