I’ve taken a number of pottery classes there over the years, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Some things to know: in addition to the price of the class itself, they will charge a small extra fee for firing the pottery. also, it can get VERY hot during the summer since there is no air conditioning, so i recommend taking classes during the spring, winter, or autumn.
The owner is unprofessional, disorganized, condescending, and rude. If you are looking for a positive and productive space, try a different pottery!
Had a private class with Iva and she was great! She helped us learn basic techniques on the wheel and guided us while we made some bowls and cups. She was very patient and helped us paint/glaze the pottery at the end. I just went to pick up the pieces and they look awesome! They were all wrapped individually and labeled - so nice. I would highly recommend Supermud pottery for classes or individual private lessons. We want to go back and create more pieces! Clay is healing
During the pandemic, Supermud classes have been something to look forward to. It's wonderful to be in such a welcoming and creative community. If you're not keen on making pottery, check out the gallery and support the artists inside!
Great classes for both adults and kids, with a really nice sense of community. When you register for a class, it also includes lots of open studio time to go in an practice and make pieces. They also lots of beautiful work for sale at this studio - great inspiration! Love supermud!
I really enjoy my pottery classes here, it feels real good to make things with your own hands. Supermud is a wonderful community of potters.
