The owner was welcoming and extremely helpful. I came into the shop with an extremely old reel that was given to me and needed some help and advice. I am not a fly fisherman. I received extensive advice on line weights and types, some leaders for my reel, and a quick lesson to get me started. I purchased a rod that would be a great match for my reel. He also dug up a spare spool that happened to be a perfect match for my reel. I was also invited back to bring in some flies that my grandfather had tied so he could give me feedback and I am guessing another lesson. I will be a customer for life based on this interaction and viewing him deal with another sportsman who came in for advice and tackle.

I have never been into the store but I spoke with the owner on the phone and he was very rude. I will not be stopping by the store.

Got outdated stream and lake information on two occasions. Fly materials were dusty and his product knowledge was lacking. Didn't even know what uni-stretch was. Then gave me attitude for trying to explain what it was. Final straw was when he sold me outdated equipment in the form of unmarked/ unlabeled fly line and told me it was a new product (rio grande) that I was able to look up when I got home and only to find the the color didn't even match. This guy will lie to you at the least and steal from you at the worst. Better off shopping online or going elsewhere. The worst fly fly shop I have had the misfortune of giving my business. Consider this a warning.
