Sweetbites Cafe & Bakery

Cozy little place tucked into a busy area. Even though it's tough to find parking, it's worth making the effort to visit this delicious little bakery. The food is really good and they make a good selection of specialized coffee drinks. You'll be greeted with warm smiles and simple but elegant decor. There's ample seating but the space can get crowded. There's always room on the outside patio when the weather permits.

The staff are very friendly and helpful however recently one of their sandwich is not as fresh as it used to be. The bread tastes so old as if it was on the shelf for many days. I love their Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich and they do make one fresh if it is not pre-made. But last two times it tastes horrible even if they made fresh. I hope they get better in bread selection and make me come back again.

Randomly decided to give this little place a shot. Ordered a cappuccino thinking it would be just your regular everyday cup. To my surprise the cup was perfect. Foamy at the top and sweet milky sips through out. Thanks Guys will be back!

Little coffee/cafe shop in an office building. Plenty of desert and sandwich options. Ladird behind the counter are super nice and quick your drinks. Outdoor seating available so I assume it's pet friendly.

I've come here over a dozen times as there's always an unique selection of baked goods! From chocolate pear tarts to pina colada cupcakes, there's lots of decadent goodies to choose from. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count how many pastries I've had (tarts, quiches, cakes, cupcakes, bread, cookies, brownies, whoopie pies, nom nom nom!) My favorites are key lime pie cupcakes and pina colada cupcakes, lemon poppy seed bread, smores brownie, and brookie (brownie + cookie)! All the pastries are very fresh, soft and moist! Truly a sweet bite! I used to go to the Sweetbites truck all the time in DC and so glad that Debra, the owner, opened up this cute cafe in McLean right near me. Debra is just as sweet as her delicious baked goods and you can really taste the passion. Tucked inside Inova medical building and only open during the weekdays Sweetbites is truly a hidden gem and well worth a visit.
