Tysons Cakes

We enjoyed a tasty birthday cake for my nephews 3rd birthday. The yellow cake with strawberry filling was very flavorful and light. The birthday boy LOVED his special cake too. His smile lasted the entire weekend. Thank you for making this family so happy.

This small, unassuming bakeshop off Leesburg Pike turned out to be a great choice for some cupcakes despite not having a huge cupcake selection. I purchased a box of four: Pink Champagne, Vanilla with Chocolate frosting, Lemon Blueberry, and of course Red Velvet. Paid around $13-- a high price point-- but it was clear to me that they were fresh, probably baked that day, and hand-frosted. After sampling each flavor I will confidently say Red Velvet takes the cake! It was everything you'd expect from a good cupcake; soft and moist with cream cheese frosting that was rich and of course, creamy. I wasn't a huge fan of the Vanilla with Chocolate frosting only because it tasted a little plain. Regardless, if you find yourself in Tysons looking for a quality, tasty cupcake, definitely stop by Tyson's Cakes!

This is the best customized cake place in the area! The quality of the design is incredible! They work with you to match the design you want exactly based on a picture you provide. This is the third time I’ve used them for special events and thanks to their cake the events were such a success! Not only is the design beautiful, but the taste is so so delicious! Epic amazing frosting and super moist cake. They have a wide variety of cake designs, for baby showers, birthdays, bachelorettes and many more. Very highly recommended.
