We are very happy with the work that we had done on our pool. So happy to have found some honest contractors who do what they say they will do and keep us in the loop along the way.

Glen was kind enough to help me trouble shoot my Polaris. He made several suggestions on things I can do to improve my pool experience and they've all been true. I highly recommend Swimming Pool Services for their expertise and professionalism!

Having recently purchased a home with an in ground swimming pool and having never owned a pool before now, I quickly started feeling lost and overwhelmed as I began trying to figure it all out... Salt chlorine generators, sand filters, fixing wet tiles, keeping pool levels right, keeping things running, etc - it's all just a lot to process when you just hop into the deep end like I did (if you'll pardon my pun). Fortunately, the friendly people over at Swimming Pool Services has been very kind and patient, leading me through the paces of owning and maintaining a pool... In my 6 or so visits over the past few weeks for various things, the crew here has been nothing but friendly and helpful... While I have now bought a few things from them, I didn't until about my 3rd visit - something they never once seemed to hold against me while giving me what was ultimately free advice at the time... It's because of their consistent friendliness and helpfulness that I am now turning to them first for my pool needs - it's also why I am here writing this review! As an oftentimes online shopper, and when considering their location, I figured I'd be paying 2X the price for parts and supplies than I would online - AND I WAS 100% INCORRECT! On the 5 items that I've now purchased from them, there's been maybe a dollar or two difference between their prices and the lowest price I could find online - with theirs being the cheaper of the two about 1/2 the time! Additionally, they offer fast and free water testing - with analysis printout and recommendations... I've had mine tested 3 times - none of which took more than a few minutes... Never once have I felt pressured to buy something or rushed by them... I just can't say enough positive about my experiences to date! If you're in the need of their particular offerings, don't hesitate to check them out!

Very dissatisfied. We had been using Swimming Pool Services (SPS) since we moved into our home in 2008. They opened and closed our pool each season and we bought our chemicals for our pool and hot tub from them as well. The last few years, the service began to drop. When we called to complain, we were told it's hard finding good help. In Oct 2012, we bought a hot tub from them. In Oct 2016, the hot tub quit running. When the repairman came out, he said we needed to buy a new pump. After waiting a few days for SPS to give us an estimate on a new pump, my wife called the maker of the hot tub, Shoreline Dynasty Spa, and got an estimate from them. We decided to try to fix it ourselves and took the pump to Alabama Pump and Supply who fixed it for much less. We then reinstalled it. After reinstalling the pump, we decided to move the spa a few feet and called SPS and were told Glen would call us back shortly as he was on a job. I waited until 2 PM. When I called back, I was told they wouldn't be able to help us until sometime the next week. TIME TO MOVE ON. We had experienced poor service many times over the years, but weren't sure who to use. Thanks to SPS's poor service, we now open and close our pool and we use Shoemaker pool services for our supplies.
