My family and I were not allowed to enter into the pool or splash pad area. Employees stated we needed to provide proof of residency for the Trussville area with state ID. We were the only ones asked for identification and feel we were singled out. We were under the impression this was a public pool but apparently this isn't the case.

Water could be cleaned through out the day. Gets dirty and bugs and leaves are ignoredlige. Many not all of the life guards are lazy. The bathroom is dirty and could benefit from a pressure wash.

Very segregated, I took my kids to Trussville Splash Pad yesterday, they said it's $5.00 a person to enter The Slash Pad, because we don't live in the Trussville area, which was not a problem until they asked for my driver's license and proof of residence??? Which was absolutely ridiculous I felt like a terrorist. You need all my information so my kids run around a hose pipe "REALLY"
And what really pissed me off was having to explain to my kids why they could NOT play on The Slash Pad but they can play on the playground that's right next to The Slash Pad. Gardendale splash pad is very nice, its bigger,it does not matter where you live, you don't have to wait in all that traffic and it's Free
