It's a beautiful cosy restaurant. I will definitely go back to experience the chil vibe but the food didn't taste as great as how it looked. I ordered stake, it was okay but the sides including the roasted potatoes came cold. It also took a long time until we're served. But having said that I will go back for the drink and the backyard area which is designed beautiful.

Tried to go this Saturday as part of a group of 5 for my pregnant sister's birthday mini food tour. Literally more than half the restaurant was empty and we were told we couldn't be seated. We asked how long the wait would be , if we could sit outside or take some empanadas to go and he said he wasn't able to accommodate us. Won't be going back

Great decor and vibe we didn't have any cocktails unfortunately so I can't comment on them. The food was just ok. We had the octopus and the steak. The octopus yearned for some flavor, but it wasn't there. The sauce was barely ok and the octopus didn't have much taste. The steak looked fantastic and cooked to the perfect temp, but again missing the flavor and in this case the salt!

I am of Colombian descent and have been married to my Uruguayan wife for 25 years so Uruguayan food has been part of my diet for a long time. Tabare has nice rustic charm to it and as I sat down to eat I was thinking this could be a really good meal. But the food feel short of the ambiance and I left depressed as what could have been. The issues can be solved very easily as the food was cooked properly but lacked flavor and offered no refinement I would expect from any trained chef. So many great chefs and cooks out there lifting traditional food to the next level but unfourtantly not here and especially not this day. Will check on this place down the road as I hope they do a better job. Not a 4 star place!

Place is super chill, great vibe. Food is delicious and service on point. Will come back for sure for an other happy hour :)
