Tally's Silver Spoon

Had breakfast here one morning during our cross country trip. Without a doubt, the best breakfast we had the entire18 state, 8,400 mile, 3 week journey. When I wanted to order one of the menu omelets without meat the server made a wonderful suggestion that wasn't on the menu. She hit the nail on the head! The food was delicious with good sized servings. Service was spot on. And when we paid the bill they asked us if we wanted coffee to go and didn't even charge extra for it. If we lived in Rapid City we would be regulars.

Probably the best breakfast in all of Rapid City, the only major downside is the extreme lack of seating in the place. Food way more often than not comes out correctly (they seem to have a hard time with eggs some days). Chocolate Chip pancake is probably the best thing on the menu.

One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The gravy, country fried steak, and pancakes all made from scratch at the restaurant. The service was impeccable from the moment we walked in the door.

Place was packed when we entered. Took the 3 seats available at the bar. Good service, eclectic food choices. "Duck, duck, goose" was excellent. The other two approved of theirs, also. Would seek thus place out if in town again.

We went there on a Sunday and there's a 30-40min wait. It's quite popular and packed with people. Ordered the regular pancake and it was good.
