Millstone Family Restaurant

Went in. They had a salad bar that looked like your typical salad bar. Lettuce looked flaccid, and not terribly desirable. Overall though the store seemed fairly nice. The wait staff was very nice, and very willing to keep your glasses full. The problem came when I ordered a salad off the menu. Like usual when you order a salad off the menu one would expect fresh salad from the crisper... What really happened was the cook took a salad bowl from behind the counter, and walked to the salad bar to fill it. After that they then returned to the counter and put some burnt chicken on the salad. Overall not a terrible place just a bad experience. Avoid salads if you can.

We went here for Taco-Tuesday and had one of the best waitresses we had during our entire two week/ eight state trip through the United States. She kept all our glasses fill and came to check on us frequently enough that nothing went empty, but not so often that we felt like we were being interrupted ... a perfect balance. The Indian tacos were surprisingly large, tasty and rather filling. On the single-use plastic front the restaurant did rather well ... the waitress did throw straws on the table, but took them back quietly when I told her I didn't do plastic straws. All in all it was an enjoyable evening.

First time here. We really enjoyed It! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. And it doesn't break the bank to eat here. We were there early to mid-morning in the weekend and the place was packed. Plan accordingly.

Sunday morning, about 10:30: veterns is the crowd. The staff was absolutely perfect for the older generation. The wait was a bit longer than usual and the bathrooms needed to be cleaned but the food was great and the service was better. (And the waffles were huge!) There were 6 of us and we each ordered something different and tried a little bit of everything, I'm telling you, the food there is great.

Very open restaurant. We felt really calm and relaxed while there. The service was very fast and friendly. We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. The hot chocolate I ordered was very creamy. Salad bar was great. I would definitely come here again.
