Ruby House Restaurant

My husband's steak was really good, cooked perfectly at a decent price. My chicken fried chicken was half of what I expected, litterally. It tasted good, just wish I could have gotten more. Considering my meal was a baked sweet potato and a small piece of chicken, it should have cost half as much as it did. The waitress and cocktail waitress were really nice. : )

The look and feel of the place is great, and very nostalgic. The food can be great depending on what you order. Dessert is always delicious, and most would really enjoy the place. Stay away from the buffalo stew though, as it is far from being considered edible.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Keystone just outside of Mount Rushmore. It has two floors, both inside and out with an adjoining bar. The decor is a fun mix of Founding Fathers meets Americana. I'd say the food, however, is just ok. The chicken was very dry but it may have just been our experience. Everything else was decent and light weight on the basic side, nothing that really stood out.

Service and staff services were good. Food quality was poor. Fast food at a much higher price. I would recommend eating elsewhere.

Ruby Restaurant, more like Ruby Ripoff! Frozen fast food passed off as a fresh food restaurant. Service is odd, some get full salad and bread, we received lettuce and dressing with no bread. Waste of money. Added star was for nice waitress.
