The Custer Wolf - Food & Drink

This was my favorite place that I ate at all week! I wish I lived closer... Staff was very nice and awesome!food was delicious and prices were good. If you are passing it's worth a stop!

Probably the best meal we had while we were in the Black Hills. I had the shredded buffalo sandwich with the mashed potatoes and it was great.

Amazing gem in the heart of historic downtown Custer. Delicious food (salad, nachos and fries were incredible) as well as great decor and a friendly owner. You can tell the staff takes great pride in cooking food food and having this be one of the best restaurants in the area. Also, if you’re looking to kill some time while you wait for a table, right across the way is an adorable thrift store.

Absolutely loved the food, it was a good portion and tasted amazing. I didn't go home hungry or too full to move. Great people too. The table service was nice, friendly, but never overbearing. It wasn't too loud my partner and I couldn't talk and it was pleasant just sitting to have a drink after. The decor makes it inviting and the food brings you back for more. All in all, great place and I'd recommend it.

We were there with a large rush of people so getting our food took longer than we'd like to have waited with 3 kids. They had a shelf of games and coloring books available, so that helped! Kids meals had large portions. Chicken tenders and mashed taters were delicious. Fish n chips were tasty, but maybe not quite fried long enough because the batter was chewy. Staff was very friendly and attentive once our food arrived.
